Most people believe that once they see clearly, they will act.
They don’t.
Because clarity does not remove constraint.

The System
Exit is not a single decision.

And most systems are designed to make those consequences visible; before you leave.

Time. Identity. Relationships. Position.
And loss feels immediate.

“What is this designed to protect?”

3. You act without full certainty Because clarity already exists.

5. You tolerate disruption Without retreating into familiarity.
Leaving does not remove cost. It reallocates it.
Decision Framework
Ask yourself:
Am I staying because it is right; or because leaving is costly?
What am I preserving by not leaving?
If nothing changed, would I choose this again?
Am I waiting for the cost to disappear; or deciding despite it?
The answers are rarely ambiguous.
Only inconvenient.
Closing
Seeing the system does not free you.
It confronts you.
With cost. With consequence. With what leaving will require.
Clarity creates a decision.
And decision creates disruption.
You begin to understand:
Staying has a cost. Leaving has a cost.
But only one of them compounds.
And over time, what feels safer becomes more expensive.
